Mgr. Tomáš Halamka, Ph.D.

Tomáš Halamka specialises in political theory and history of political thought. His main research interest is republican political theory, especially its conceptual history and the integration of so-called “neo-Roman” and “neo-Athenian” strands of republicanism. Tomáš is also interested in various approaches to textual interpretation in political thought and edited a collective monograph on this topic. He has previously conducted long-term study visits at the University of Nottingham and the University of Copenhagen and long-term research visits at Queen Mary, University of London, the University of Oxford and Princeton University.
