The Prague Agenda - Challenges and Prospects

Ministerstvo zahraničních věcí ČR ve spolupráci s Katedrou mezinárodních vztahů Institutu politologických studií FSV UK a Metropolitní univerzitou Praha pořádalo 5. a 6. září 2013 v Černínském paláci konferenci The Prague Agenda - Challenges and Prospects.

Cílem této mezinárodní konference bylo projednání „Pražské bezpečnostní agendy“, kterou v Praze v dubnu 2009 oznámil americký prezident Obama. Konference se zabývala především pilířem o jaderném odzbrojení, do určité míry také pilíři o nešíření jaderných zbraní a jaderné bezpečnosti.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Department of International Relations, Institute of Political Studies, the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University Prague and the Metropolitan University Prague organized on 5th and 6th September 2013 conference The Prague Agenda - Challenges and Prospects.

The aim of this international conference is to discuss and further expand upon the Prague Security Agenda announced by US President Obama in April 2009 in Prague. The conference will deal primarily with the nuclear disarmament pillar this year, however, the other two pillars (nuclear non-proliferation and nuclear security) will be covered to some extent in this year's conference too.
