Mobility

The Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague prides itself for having one of the highest international mobility participation rates of all seventeen faculties of the university. Similarly, mobility is of prime importance for the Institute of Political Studies as well.

The international mobility at both the faculty as such as well as our institute is mainly based on the European Higher Education Area, coordinated by the Bologna Process and manifested by the ERASMUS+ program.

In addition to the ERASMUS+ scheme, the Faculty of Social Sciences participates in other smaller international student exchange programs, such as ERASMUS MUNDUS, CEEPUS or AKTION.

By entering into agreements with partner universities in North America, Asia and the Middle East, the Institute of Political Studies works to expand its cooperation beyond Europe.

Further international cooperation develops through individual research grants as well as numerous guest lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences the Institute of Political Studies coordinates and runs each year.
