Call for Applications: Europaeum Brussels Policy Seminar
We invite applications from Master’s and PhD students in any discipline, who wish to learn more about EU policy making and the EU institutions. For those selected to take part, accommodation will be provided free of charge and reasonable travel expenses from Prague to Brussels will be covered. -

Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)
Academics at Charles University now have the opportunity to apply for the coordination of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), which is one of the new Erasmus+ features. The deadline for submitting proposals is November 30, 2025. Approved BIPs must be implemented and accounted by July 31, 2027. -
Mental Health Day on 9 October 2025 in the Jinonice Campus

Science at FSV UK: Jakub Tesař on the connection between social science, quantum physics and environmental policy
Dr. Jakub Tesař from the Institute of Political Studies at FSV UK explores how so-called quantum social science can help us better understand human behavior. His work shows that similar principles can apply both to physical particles and to people – and that understanding these patterns can change the way we think about society. Read about his research. -
A call for Charles University Grant Agency proposals
The Charles University Grant Agency (GAUK) has announced a call for 2026. Projects for 1-3 years can be submitted by master's and doctoral students in the standard period of study. The Faculty deadline for proposal submission is 30 October 2025. Webinar for applicants takes place on 6 October 2025, 2 p.m.
