Nationalist populism in France and the United States (Griffith University) – This scholarship supports a comparative research project on the international links of nationalist populists across several continents. The project aims to understand how nationalist populist views of international cooperation with likeminded parties has changed over time, how it functions now, and what its effects are. Since the successful candidate will conduct fieldwork in France and the US, advanced-level proficiency in French and English is essential.

The scholarship is linked to Duncan McDonnell's Australian Research Council Future Fellowship on the internationalisation of nationalist populism.
