  • Mental Health Day on 9 October 2025 in the Jinonice Campus

    In the morning of 9 October 2025, you can once again meet therapy dogs and enjoy a tasty breakfast prepared by student clubs in the foyer of building C in the Jinonice Campus. You will have a unique opportunity to meet student ombudspeople.
  • Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)

    Academics at Charles University now have the opportunity to apply for the coordination of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), which is one of the new Erasmus+ features. The deadline for submitting proposals is November 30, 2025. Approved BIPs must be implemented and accounted by July 31, 2027.
  • Change of the office

    The IPS offices on the 6th floor have been temporarily relocated to B321 or to the former study room U Kříže1.
  • Call for Applications: Europaeum Brussels Policy Seminar

    We invite applications from Master’s and PhD students in any discipline, who wish to learn more about EU policy making and the EU institutions. For those selected to take part, accommodation will be provided free of charge and reasonable travel expenses from Prague to Brussels will be covered.
  • Deadline for applications for Erasmus+ placements

    Erasmus+ offers practical and graduate traineeships. For mobilities starting from October 2025 to January 2026, the deadline for applications is 15 August 2025. All students in bachelor, master and doctoral programmes are eligible to participate in traineeships.
  • Two projects from IPS succeeded in the Primus competition

    Jaroslav Bílek and Jade Hutchinson succeeded in the 10th round of the Primus university competition, which Charles University has been announcing since 2017. The competition is designed for young promising scientists. The aim of the programme is to support top male and female researchers in establishing and developing new research groups and laboratories.
