Applications are open for Geopolitical Summer School
Applications are open for Geopolitical Summer School “Europe in Troubled Times”. The summer school takes place on 22 – 26 June 2026 in the Jinonice Campus and is aimed at a diverse international audience, including students from Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs. Participants earn 4 ECTS credits upon completing the program. -
Fulbright Distinguished Scholar Kennan Ferguson at IPS FSV UK
Today, the Dean of FSV UK, Tomáš Karásek, personally welcomed Professor Kennan Ferguson from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States. Prof. Ferguson will be working at the Institute of Political Studies, for the next five months as part of the Fulbright Distinguished Scholar program. -
Lecture invitation: New rules, new challenges
Join us for a lecture titled "New rules, new challenges: prospects for conflict mediation in a changing international system," which takes place on 6 February 2026, 9:30-11:00 am in the Hollar building, room 212. The lecture and subsequent Q&A will be held by Paul Dziatkowiec, Director of Mediation and Peace Support at the prestigious Geneva Centre for Security Policy.
